a potpourri of prompts

Over the past year plus, I’ve offered you a variety of writing and creative prompts. I would love to hear from you who have been following this blog.

  • Have you used any of the prompts?
  • Are there one or two that have been especially interesting, fruitful or fun for you?
  • How has this blog served your creative process?

Thank you for taking the time to reply.

Enjoy your creative life!

  1. I have loved this blog so much. I don’t always use the prompts the way they are intended but they always inspire me to think about my own experiences and what I might write if I did pick up my pen.
Though I love being able to do this online I notice it brings up a deep desire in me to connect with you and others in PERSON. To sit in a field of flowers somewhere and do this work together with your guidance. To do it for weeks on end. Wouldn’t that be lovely?

  2. Hi Carolyn,
As you know, I had hoped this blog would be a bit more interactive. I do appreciate receiving your comments. “Likes” and occasional comments from others are always appreciated too. I understand the desire for in-person connection. Sitting in a field of flowers somewhere (when it’s not so hot) is enticing too. Your desire is heard and we’ll see what’s in store. Thank you for your comment.

  3. Christine ~ I love reading your work. Sometimes it creates memory pathways or new ways of looking at things. I often linger there for awhile. I haven’t written anything yet, but sure enjoy your blog! Thank you!

  4. Thank you, Cathy. I trust that writing a blog with the intention of inspiration achieves its purpose if it “creates memory pathways or new ways of looking at things” as you stated. You are welcome.
